Mr. Sohail will be considered as Non-resident as he spent only 90 days in Pakistan and he doesn't meet the criteria of resident i.e. 182 days or more.

Mr. sohail going come in Pakistan 1st march 2008 to attend marriage ceremony and he is going back to Singapore 22^nd march 2008 however he extend his visit and going back 30^th may 2009. What is residential status of Mr. Sohail in tax year 2009? Marks 3

Answer ..... Resident....... but who. 

Mr sohail spend just 90 days in a tax year. if he spend 183 days then his status would be changed as a resident. i am confused please any one address me.
